Second Grade Newsletter
August/September 2008
Welcome to a brand new school year! It's great to be back in the routine of learning! I'm very excited about this school year. Working with new children is always a welcome challenge to me, and I look forward to getting to know the second graders and challenging them to do their best in school! There's nothing like a fresh start - all things are possible!
We will be digging into our new books and enjoying some new activities. Second Grade is a huge year for learning and maturity - just watch us grow! I do plan to prepare plays with the children later this fall. I will send information on that as it becomes available. For now, we'll concentrate on getting into the routine of school, reviewing some First Grade material, and then zooming into the Second Grade curriculum. I believe the second graders will find school fun and interesting. I know I always do!
