Officer Bleess has been visiting our 6th grade class for the
“Counteract” program this week. Counter Act is the Drug Awareness
program that replaced “Dare” a few years ago.

The library will close for the year on Monday, May 17th. All books should
be returned at that time. We will begin our inventory on Monday, also.
We need a few volunteers to help with this. With the automated system, it
will go quickly. This is a great place to pick up those last needed
points. Please, please call the school at 235-5304 if you are able to
help.
On Friday, May 21st is the awards ceremony at 10:30 AM, the
school picnic after, and then our annual field day at 12:30 PM. There is a
form in your Friday folder today for lunch reservations. Please return as
soon as possible or by Wednesday, May 19th so we can get a
count for lunch. The sixth graders will be helping to run field days.
Thank you to them.
Sixth grade graduation will be Wednesday, May 26, at 7:00 PM in the church and
the reception will be in the hospitality space. Pictures will be taken at
6:00 PM. Graduation practice will be Wednesday morning.
As the year comes to an end, please be sure all your tuition is paid as well as
lunch bills and any fines that your student has incurred. There are
several families that are way over on their lunch account because they have not
checked their account balance online. We have not sent lunch bills home
since January to save money because it is so easy for you to go to the JMC
parent access. Any lunch payments that exceed this year’s lunch balance
will roll over into next school year for grades K-5th. Check your account
online and then with Dawn if you have questions on any bills. Report cards
will be held until all bills are paid unless you have spoken with us.
Please note, all summer we will have the trailer by the parish garage to collect
pop cans. Remember we are only recycling aluminum cans and not any trash.
If you have any generic scrip certificates that your family has not cashed in
